JANE BURNELL

SOPRANO

British/Irish Soprano Jane Burnell is a Master's graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music where she studied under the tutelage of international Soprano, Linda Richardson.

Jane started the 2024/2025 season by making her international debut with Wexford Festival Opera performing the role of Molly Allgood Lady Gregory in America (Caruso) and Chorus Le Maschere (Mascagni).

Later this season Jane makes a role debut as Mademoiselle Silberklang The Impresario (Mozart) with Buxton International Festival, and returns to Wexford Festival Opera as a member of the 2025 Wexford Factory.

The recent 2023/2024 season saw her professional debut as Gasparina La Canterina (Haydn) and Giovanna Ernani (Verdi) for Buxton International Festival, and Jane begins the 2024/2025 season by joining Wexford Festival Opera this autumn to perform the role of Molly Allgood Lady Gregory in America and Chorus Le maschere.
